23 July: CIO Summit 2009

The CIO Summit agenda has been developed in partnership with CIO and the members of the CIO Executive Council (incorporating IDC's InTEP members)...

The event is tailored specifically to the issues foremost on the minds of the CIOs and limits speakers to end-users and IDC analysts.

For over 20 years, IDC has set out annually out to identify what is top of mind for CIOs across Australia and New Zealand through its Forecast for Management (FFM) Survey.

The FFM Survey asks CIO's questions relating to their use of, expenditure on, resourcing for and challenges with IT - including what they are planning in terms of budgets, resources and intentions for the use of technology in the coming years. From this, our expert analyst teams can constantly monitor the dynamic ICT industry and offer insight for CIO benchmarking and vendor strategic planning alike.

The CIO Summit on 23rd July 2009 will focus on the key issues raised by CIOs in this year's Forecast For Management Survey which include the following: * improving productivity * customer service * rapid deployment * leveraging customer intelligence * delivering collaborative technologies * better knowledge management * business Intelligence * better storage * security, and * network infrastructure.
