Tuapeka Gold Print chooses Syspro for ERP

“We envisage TGP doubling production and growing substantially over the medium to long term,” said director and joint-owner of TGP, Brad Houghton.

“To support this growth, TGP reviewed its business systems with the aim of finding a solution that would streamline production and back office processes,” he said.

TGP said it chose Syspro based on three key attributes: flexibility to accommodate new processes, the software’s high degree of autonomy, and its potential for growth.

“Speed and quality of the Syspro implementation will be of the essence.  A successful ERP system integration will enable us to focus on business opportunities,” Houghton said.  Implementation of the system has commenced and is expected to go live by the first half of 2009.

Tuapeka Gold Print Ltd was started in 1987 as a home based business printing business cards. Branching into the production of pens and promotional products, TGP has grown to dominate the New Zealand industry from the rural South Island location of Lawrence, Central Otago.
