Industry-specific ERP software

Adopting a vertical approach, IBS develops industry-specific solutions for the automotive sales and aftersales market, pharmaceutical and healthcare, consumer durables and publishing, electronics, industrial supplies, paper & packaging, medical equipment, and food and beverage industries. IBS provides a “one-stop shop” integrated solution – with software, services, consulting, hardware and financing - supported by industry knowledge and personnel who have gained experience working with organisations and customers across various verticals.

Since 1998, IBS Australia has been supporting IBS customers in Australia and New Zealand. IBS has expanded its Australian operations in recent times (2005) by acquiring two leading Australian vendors of vertical market-focused software for the publishing and automotive industries respectively, TMS and IDS. These strategic acquisitions have extended IBS’ product offerings and customer base and given global reach for the market leading products, both of which were developed in Australia. Because IBS Publishing and IBS Automotive software were both developed in collaboration with the publishing/book distribution and automotive industry respectively, the solutions are tailor-made for those specific industries and IBS personnel have an understanding of their complex supply chain needs. In fact, IBS Publishing is the most widely-used publishing software in the world, while IBS Automotive has about 70 percent of the Australian Automotive market. This makes IBS an international company with a strong local industry presence as well.

IBS recognises that each industry is very different and IBS works not only with supply chain associations such as GS1 and the Supply Chain Council, but also with industry bodies that are in line with our target verticals. IBS is a member of the GIRP (European Association of Pharmaceutical Full-line Wholesalers) since 2001, and also a member of the IFPW (International Federation of Pharmaceutical Wholesalers).

Being ranked as one of the top supply chain vendors in Europe and globally by AMR means the functionality and multi-location, multi-country and vertical specific capabilities of each element of the IBS system is superior.

In Australia, IBS is proud to be working with The Laminex Group, Sigma Pharmaceuticals, Miele, McPherson's, HarperCollins, Pearson Education, Lexis Nexis, Isuzu, Kia Motors, Mitsubishi Fuso Trucks, Volkswagen and many other valued customers.
